• This role requires the individual to take responsibility for supporting the CEO in creating and delivering the Company’s future growth strategy and creating business development opportunities in all areas of the business. 
• Contribute towards developing a holistic business strategy for the company, creating milestones and key deliverables and ensuring that timescales are met on time and by the key stakeholders.
• Communicating regularly with the CEO on business plan delivery.
• Supporting and undertaking proactive business development in line with the Company’s strategic direction and increasing market share and profitability.
• Working with the Commercial Team on identifying new opportunities and sharing information to ensure maximum penetration and growth in all accounts.
• Communicating CEO objectives to the Senior Team.
• Engaging in strategic networking for the Company and identifying and developing new opportunities.
• Managing the expectations of Key Clients at a Senior Level and ensuring any expectations out with agreed service levels are communicated to the relevant stakeholder.

Education/Experience:

• Knowledge of the waste management industry including Recycling and Environmental Services
• Third level qualification desirable
• Business development experience in the waste management industry
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
• Self motivated and disciplined and able to perform autonomously
• Ability to drive performance and surpass company targets
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, adaptable to a diverse variety of audiences
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Current driving licence
• A high degree of flexibility
• Financially literate
• Ability to present strategic plans / business plans and other key organisational documentation to a high standard
