Penny Gundry – Career, Performance & Stress Management Coach
Penny’s career has focused on management, training and consultancy. She is particularly skilled in the areas of personal development, personal effectiveness and people solutions. Using her own background and training, Penny draws from a ‘toolbox’ of experiences and methods, to work creatively with her clients to solve problems and develop new ideas. What Penny offers is choice, reflection and challenge to guide individuals or teams as they unlock their potential for growth and development.
Penny’s coaching style is founded on the philosophy that each individual is resourceful and whole. Her aim is to facilitate her clients to solve their perceived problems and reach their full potential. Coaching provides the right environment and space to explore and achieve this. Penny brings a wealth of experience into the coaching relationship.
Penny previously worked in project management, on senior management teams in two cross-border organisations and a large private college in Dublin. She has also worked as a coach for the last seven years for middle and senior managers in a variety of organisations and as a consultant in a number of educational and health organisations as well as writing a strategic plan for the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Penny has an MBS in Management and Organisation Studies from the Smurfit Graduate Business School and is qualified in teaching ‘stress reduction and relaxation skills. She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Irish Institute of Training and Development (IITD). Penny is currently also a mentor on the Coaching Development Course in the Tipperary Institute.
