Due to expansion, our client, an SAAS company based in Limerick are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their team and drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and closing deals.
This role is based out of Ireland but will require 50% travel to locations across Ireland and globally once they expand into Europe, USA, UK, and China, attending business forums, and networking with potential clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth in international markets.
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the supply chain industry.
- Qualify leads, conduct product demos, and communicate the value of our offering to key decision makers.
- Work with the potential client on the commercials
- Meet & exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
- Manage and progress the sales pipeline through the sales funnel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
- Work with potential clients on the commercials and contracts
- Travel to meet with clients and attend business forums.
- Develop partnerships in international waters.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and business development
- Experience selling software solutions or technology products to enterprise-level clients.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel to build relationships with clients.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
