An exciting opportunity has arisen as Employee Services & Payroll Manager. This vacancy will be filled on the basis of a personal contract and the successful candidate will work within Shared Services reporting to the Customer Operations Manager
Key Objectives of role:
This role is accountable for directing and developing the Employee Services & Payroll team together with lifecycle management of continuous improvement initiatives and on-going streamlining of process and policy in support of customers and partners. The role involves the development and delivery of KPIs, metrics and reports working closely with the HR team . A key component of this role is the provision of value-add advisory and analytical support to business users across a variety of specialist areas encompassing compensation and benefits, pensions, recruitment / employee on-boarding, payroll and all aspects of the people process. Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and Revenue requirements.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:
Management
- Lead a team of payroll and HR professionals to deliver a simple, consistent employee experience in all areas relating to payroll, compensation and benefits through the HR / Shared Services shared response centre
- Establish and report relevant KPI’s for the Employee Services & Payroll team and the end-to-end recruit to retire work stream
Functional
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations overseeing processing and payment of payroll for c3,000 employee). This includes pay related functions supporting employees across multiple locations and companies
- Responsible for daily coordination, assignment, prioritization and measurement of requests received via response centre
- Ensure that Revenue compliance requirements are fully satisfied
Customer Service
- Ensure all queries are efficiently and effectively managed, service levels to employees are developed and maintained and regular feedback is actively sought and acted on
- Work collaboratively with the HR leadership and HR Business Partner team to identify and support the design of effective & efficient recruit to retire services
- Responsible for provision of key people and payroll data and analysis in support of finance areas and finance processes including budgets, audit support, control account reconciliations, payment of third party payroll deductions, payroll accruals and the month end process
People Development
- Recruit, retain, coach, develop and lead a highly responsive team that fully meets the service requirements of all customer groups
Skill & Competency Profile:
- HR or payroll experience is essential in this role
- Experience at a management level is desirable
- An appropriate professional and/or third level qualification is required
