Overview:
As a Learning & Talent Development Specialist, you will determine, design, and implement the best and most innovative ways for our employees to continuously develop; learn new skills, acquire knowledge, and apply and practice this within their roles. As part of your work, you will facilitate learning modules, identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement of our L&D programs, design and implement innovative learning experiences, manage learning projects, and ensure our work is data-driven and impactful.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop specific learning solutions for the site and its departments using proven design methodology, project management techniques and blended learning delivery options.
- Assist in the development and design of all leadership development, coaching and mentoring programmes.
- Manage the roll-out of learning solutions, inclusive of measuring the impact and effectiveness of same.
- Manage all aspects of the planning and logistics associated with a major training programme rollout i.e. people, locations, training materials, equipment
- Manage the Educational Assistance Program for the site.
- Manage and continuously develop the on-boarding program based on the needs and direction of the organization.
- Leverage new technologies and innovative strategies to increase the efficiency and scalability of our learning and development processes.
- Drive engagement and adoption of learning technology across the business.
- Develop, plan and provide learning and development interventions in line with strategy, organisational development, and employee needs.
- Lead the learning needs analysis activity for the organisation to determine the scale and scope of skills & capability needed to drive the business strategy.
- Partner with all functional areas to design appropriate training solutions as required.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation by engaging, communicating, and influencing across all levels of leadership.
- Coordinate multiple projects with the L&D team as required.
Qualifications:
- Third level qualification preferably in Human Resources, Training and Education, Learning and Development or similar discipline desired.
- 5 years + experience in a similar role preferred
- Previous experience using a learning management system (e.g. Cornerstone on Demand)
- Fluent in use of Microsoft Office tools, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Proven problem-solving & organisational skills.
- High self-motivation.
- Willingness and availability to travel on company business.
