The Role: The Project Development Team are responsible for developing and maximising the value of the current onshore pipeline. Our client has a steady pipeline and are seeking to expand their team with talented and passionate individuals.
As an assistant project manager your role will be flexible and varied and will involve:
1.Assisting the Project Management Team in the day-to-day aspects of project management for a significant
pipeline of wind and solar developments
2.Support and assistance in the successful delivery and coordination of environmental resources
3.Critically review project documentation, track project programme & risk, to ensure project viability
4.Identifying and escalating issues as they arise, while being proactive and solution oriented with good
attention to detail
5.Consulting with 3rd party consultants, Local Authorities, Statutory bodies, An Bord Pleanála
6.Onsite supervision of 3rd party consultants, where required
What do I need?
Ideal candidates will have or possess the following:
A degree and / or higher qualification in Environmental Science, Natural Science, Engineering or a related
discipline
Large project development experience, desirably in the renewable energy sector
Knowledge of / experience in environmental assessments for wind and solar projects would be highly advantageous
Knowledge of planning and consenting process would be beneficial
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation and must take on ownership of tasks and challenges
2 to 4 years’ experience working in renewable energy, onshore or similar industries
Ability to manage own workload and meet demanding timescales on a number of projects
Full, clean driving licence
