The ‘Outplacement for Managers Experience’

is unique to the Irish marketplace and has been the key reason why we are the trusted partner by employers to help those impacted in a ‘personalised, professional and pragmatic way’ to find a new role that meets their needs. Most importantly, Harmonics 1:1 Outplacement programmes are not limited to 1, 3 or 6 months. This is a critical factor in the current changed economic environment when it will take longer to find a new role. A high percentage of individuals on every programme will not find a new job within 1 or 2 months, hence the importance of coaching support which is not timebound.

Our Approach is Personalised

During what is a time of forced change and uncertainty, the Harmonics Outplacement for Managers Experience’ starts with an initial introductory phone call from Joyce Jackson our Programme Manager to put people at ease.  A trained coach herself, Joyce builds a personal connection and provides a safe space for people who may wish to offload their immediate emotional, career and financial concerns.

Our Goal is to Understand Immediate Needs

When people face future job uncertainty, we know from neuroscience that the brain fills with cortisol which creates fear and anxiety. People are worried and need support in three key areas – career – what to do next and where to find a job?; financial – how long will my money last?; emotional – how is this impacting me emotionally? Harmonics have the expertise within our Outplacement Coaching Team to provide support in all three areas.

3 Factors when considering a 1:1 Outplacement Partner

  1. Not Timebound – On average, 4 out of 10 people availing of a 1 Month Outplacement Programme with a Global Provider, do not find a job before the Programme Support ends. This leaves them dissatisfied and not supported to find their next role. At Harmonics, our Programmes are not timebound – it’s about the end result.
  2. A Real Person to speak with – People who lose their jobs want to speak to a Career Coach who is experienced and understands their situation. Unlike, Global Outplacement firms we DO NOT send an anonymised intro e-mail from a Digital Assistant offering access to a suite of technology options. The ‘1:1 Harmonics Outplacement Experience’ starts with an initial introductory phone call from Joyce Jackson, our Programme Coach Manager to reassure and select the right coach fit.
  3. Sensitive to each situation – We know each person losing their job has unique needs, hence we lead with the personal touch. This is different to Global Outplacement firms who send a link to a global technology platform with support if requested from a careers’ advisor.
