Our Shannon based manufacturing Client has a requirement for an experienced Payroll Specialist on a part – time, contract basis 6-9 months.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Solid Payroll experience, exposure to various payroll Software Packages such as Softworks time and Attendance and Relate Payday, would be especially advantageous.
- Processing the company wide Bi-weekly payroll.
- Processing of weekly & monthly timesheets and clock cards and necessary adjustments e.g. overtime, shift patterns, salary adjustments, bonus, and commission
- Processing payroll deductions such as pension payments and health insurance
- Benefit-in-kind calculations & processing
- Annual leave calculation and reporting
- Reconciliation or payroll control accounts
- Submission of payroll return to Revenue.
- Preparation of payroll files for bank processing
- Ensure company compliance in relation to all aspects of payroll e.g. PAYE, PRSI, USC, LPT and BIK
- Deal with payroll queries on PAYE, PRSI, USC, BIK, pension and holiday entitlements and other tax issues from clients and employees
- Preparation of reports for senior management as required
- Payroll administration for all temporary employees joining and leaving the company
- Creation and issuing of employment contracts for temporary contractors
Requirements:
- IPASS or equivalent payroll or accounting qualification
- At least 3 – 5 years experience servicing payroll needs in a fast-paced environment
- Focussed on delivering an exceptional customer service both internally and externally
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional approach, punctual and reliable
